Jesus' seven ways to handle stress

  • I have to know who I am.
  • I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will have the light of life and will never walk in darkness.
    (John 8:12.)
I am the way, the truth and the life.
    (John 14:6)
  • I have to know whom I try to make satisfied.
  • I am not trying to do what I want but only what he who sent me wants.
    (John 5:30)
No servant can be the slave of two masters.
    (Luke 16:13)
  • I have to know what I want to reach.
  • I know where I came from and where I am going.
    (John 8:14)
I must preach the Good News about the Kingdom of God in other towns too, because that is what God sent me to do.
    (Luke 4:43)
  • I have to set my focus on the important things.
  • Anyone who starts to plough and then keeps looking back is of no use to the Kingdom of God.
    (Luke 9:62)
Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled over so many things, but just one is needed. Mary has chosen the right thing, and it will not be taken from her.
    (Luke 10:41-42)
  • I have to let others help me.
  • diamond

He chosed twelve who he named apostles. "I have chosen you to be with me. I will also send you out to preach".
    (Mark 3:14)
  • I have to make it a habit to pray.
  • The news about Jesus spread all the more widely, and crowds of people came to hear him and be healed from their diseases. But he would go away to lonely places, where he prayed.
    (Luke 5: 15- 16)

    Jesus in Prayer

  • I have to take the time to rest and enjoy life.
  • Let us go off to some place by ourselves where we will be alone and you can rest for a while.
    (Mark 6:31)
When the Son of Man came, he ate and drank, and everyone said: 'Look at this man! He is a glutter and a drinker, a friend af tax collectors and other outcasts.' God's Wisdom, however, is shown to be true by its results.
    (Matthew 11:19)
