Valldemossa - Port of Soller
In Valldemossa Frederic Chopin and George Sand lived in winter 1939. There is a Chopin Museum in the cloister nowadays. Each day there is a 15 minutes piano consert in the former palace. This day we could enjoy the same pianist Carlos Bonnin. It was much better acoustics here then in the bar in the hotel the other evening.

Our couch now drove downhill through terraced gardens on serpentine roads. There were mostly olive trees. The view from the coach was delightful. In Port of Soller we could have luncheon.
There is a tram going from here to Soller where you can take the train to Palma.
The old olive tree trunks can have grotesque form. I loved to see all those forms.
