Update April 2011

Our home 1988-2009

We live in the community of Ljusdal. We have lived in a village named Mon in Fä:rila parish.
Our house was situated near the main road #84.

The house we owned for so many years is called "Hansegården" which is Swedish for Hans's Estate.
It was built about 1928 by Per Hansson.
He moved a barn and rebuilt it to a living house.
We sold the estate in 2009 as we cannot manage to maintain such a big estate any longer. We have at last decided that at our age we are too old and not agile enough.

Raking in springtime is needed as there are so many birches around

morning In June early in the morning you can see the golden glow of the rising sun on the birches at the gate.
kitchen garden We have had a small garden where we try to grow parsley, dill and lettuce.
